(Always tie double knots!)

1.Select 11 strings, 10 of one color (Letter color) and 1 of a different color (Background color). (I used green and pink) The background color string should be at least 100 inches while the letter color strings should be 60 inches. Arrange the strings 12222222222. (1 being the background color pink and 2 being the letter color green)

Line 1: Make 2 right knots with the background color (green). Then make 1 left knot with the letter color (pink). Now make 2 right knots with the background color. Next make 3 left knots with the letter color. Now make 2 right knots with the background color.

Line 2: Make 1 left knot with the background color. Then make 1 right knot with the letter color. Now make 3 left knots with the background color. Next make 1 right knot with the letter color. Then make 2 left knots with the background color. Now make 1 right knot with the letter color. Next make 1 left knot with the background color.

Line 3: Make 1 right knot with the background color. Then make 1 left knot with the letter color. Now make 2 right knots with the background color. Next  make 1 left knot with the letter color. Then make 3 right knots with the background color. Now make 1 left knot with the letter color. Next make 1 right knot with the background color.

Line 4: Make 2 left knots with the background color. Then make 6 right knots with the letter color. Next make 2 left knots with the background color. (Example in picture)
